******************************************** Qualifications for BBNYC families: At least one parent is working and living in NYC Parents do not receive any cash assistance/welfare other than WIC The family has less than $4000 monthly household income The child is under 3 years of age A parent can regularly attend meetings twice monthly as scheduled To refer a prospective participant, please contact Brenda Grassey at 917-678-0153 with information about the family, or have the parent call directly. A family who meets the criteria is considered a prospective participant. A phone interview with the prospective family will be conducted.  During the phone interview, a Baby Basics NYC representative and the prospective family will discuss the program, the family’s situation and the commitment both BBNYC and they are making: diaper distribution, parenting education and community connection two times per month.  Once approved, the family is invited to the upcoming meeting to register and join the program!
